Progress in Irish Schools taking Part in SoRuraLL

 

 

By now, most of the schools taking part in SoRuraLL have launched their Web 2.0 services and a series of hands-on workshops and meetings at the beginning of February in the schools helped to iron out any remaining challenges. The teachers are also starting to use the Virtual Learning World to share samples of their work and to discuss the challenges they face. On the Moyasta primary school blog (http://moyastans.scoilnet.ie/blog), for example, you can see how this rural primary school is using a blog to share information with its local community, while the pupils in Barefield primary school http://barefieldns.scoilnet.ie/blog/ are using their blog as a way to build up a photo gallery of pupils' activities in school.
